Show Notes

In today’s episode, I interview Austin Eudaly, the founder of Tom & Sheri’s Wrinkle Release, otherwise known as “Iron in a Bottle.”  Tom shares his fascinating story of how he transitioned from a successful career acquiring mineral rights from landowners to becoming an “overnight” success with a consumer product launch.

If you’ve listened to many of my interviews, you know that I don’t believe in overnight successes, but Austin comes pretty close.  In just over a year in business, he has already sold over 130,000 bottles.  But it wasn’t all easy.  Austin worked hard to make this success happen, and he explains exactly what he did in this half-hour interview.

Listen to Austin’s story, and you’ll learn:

•“Just show up.”  It’s a simple principle, but Austin shares captivating stories on how that principle helped him to land on QVC, on Oprah’s Favorite Things list, appear on the View and generate $390,000 in revenue in one day by appearing on the View.  You don’t need a fancy PR agency to get you there.  Austin teaches how he achieved these milestones by “just showing up.”
•How do you transition from a non-marketing career and find success launching and growing a consumer product business.
